GameSparks is delighted to announce the launch of its platform at the Gamescom Event in Cologne which runs from August 21st – August 25th.
The GameSparks platform is a cloud-based solution for games developers which allows them to quickly configure server-side game functionality and integrate it into their games saving them time and money. The business of games has changed a lot in recent times placing new strains on developers. The business models and how games make money has shifted towards freemium and free-to-play (F2P). The games business, itself, is much more a service business than a product business. Today, games studios need to not only master game design and development – they must also become experts at running games as a service (GaaS), behavioral economics, retailing, psychology, data science and analytics. GameSparks exists to help developers through the provision of a turnkey backend solution that provides them with a rich set of capabilities including:
